Volunteers are an essential part of the Museum of Funeral Customs. We would not be able to accomplish much of what we offer the community without the hours of support from our community members. As a small thank-you, the Museum holds a monthly volunteer drawing and awards a prize from our Museum gift shop. For every hour you work as a volunteer, you will receive one entry in our drawing. And each year, the Museum will host a special event to honor you, our volunteer!

Volunteers who donate at least 40 hours of their time each year are given an individual membership in the Museum.* This membership entitles you to a year of:

• Free admission to our gallery.
• Subscription to the Museum newsletter.
• Advanced notice of Museum events.
• 10% off merchandise in the Museum gift shop.

Some volunteers may already be a Museum member. In this case, another individual membership is not awarded that year.
