What Can You Expect as a Volunteer?

The Museum of Funeral Customs strives to find the perfect fit between you and your role at the Museum. There are a number of opportunities to work at the Museum. If you a special talent that you would like to contribute, please let us know! We are always grateful for assistance and will do our best to fit your expertise to our needs.

Volunteers at the Museum of Funerals Customs are treated with the same respect and courtesy as any member of our staff. You will be introduced to staff members on your first visit and given a facilities tour. Staff members will provide job training on an individual basis and will always be available to assist you and answer your questions. We also pledge to do our best to schedule a convenient and flexible schedule, but please remember that our staff is very busy and needs to fit your participation into their schedule as well.

Volunteer opportunities are usually scheduled Monday through Friday, between 9am and 5pm, except when we host special, after-hours events and tours in the evenings or on Saturdays.
