Volunteers
Volunteers are important to the Museum. Volunteers can provide thoughtful insight, helpful hands, and useful skills. They benefit in feeling a sense of accomplishment and personal satisfaction from providing a service to our community. You will meet people whose interests are similar to yours and grow as a person. Join us in preserving the rich heritage of the funeral profession by volunteering at our unique and highly professional Museum. Volunteers can donate a certain amount of time per month or make themselves available for specific projects or programs.

Internships
The Museum of Funeral Customs is dedicated to helping students in museum studies, or other related fields, experience a real-world public history environment, complete with all of its rewards, challenges, and frustrations. Internships include paid and unpaid positions and may also be applied toward school credit. Working with a professional museum staff, interns will learn practical, hands-on skills, be able to apply classroom knowledge, and can discover if the museum field is really for them.
